Core States Group is a company that designs, builds, and manages programs and projects across North America, focusing on improving everyday life through architectural solutions. The Architectural Project Designer will be responsible for designing and drafting architectural projects, coordinating with various engineering disciplines, and producing architectural construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations. Generate reports and recommendations based on findings
• Coordinate with sub-consultants
• Assist in maintaining task budgets
• Coordinate and assist with addendums, RFIs, and change orders
• Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project
• Assist managers with the project approval process
• Organize and maintain project files
• Maintain documentation for billable hours
• Demonstrate an understanding of basis of design as well as codes

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required
• 0-2+ years of architecture production, preferably with retail or restaurant projects
• Must have experience with Revit
• Additional experience in AutoCAD, MS Office, Photoshop, Adobe and SketchUp a plus
