Analyst, Procurement Intelligence

Role Overview: We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and dependable Procurement Intelligence Analyst to support our growing team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for key activities in the Market Intelligence team, such as deal analysis & data analytics with primary focus on the creation and delivery of Market Intelligence Theses. You must be located in India, preferably Bangalore. Key Responsibilities: Analysis, Creation, & Delivery: Conduct in-depth analysis of HR and Benefits spend. Utilize internal data, independent research, and industry expertise/experience to come to definitive conclusions on pricing/agreement structure across various categories. Leverage your procurement expertise to extract insights from complex data, making informed assumptions and valid conclusions based on industry knowledge and experience. Analyze monetary impact over time, understanding contract costs and potential savings opportunities. Industry Research, Knowledge Transfer, & Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in HR and Benefits procurement. Understand agency pricing model, supplier licensing practices, changes in industry standards, elements of contractual risk specific to the category. Leverage internal data and outside research to build and implement strategies/models around HR and Benefits spend categories/trends on pricing and packaging. Delivery & Communication: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather and validate data. Explain and communicate complex information/analyses to end clients clearly and concisely Work hours are 1pm - 10pm to accommodate the global nature of our business. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing, Finance, or Data Analytics. Experience in one or more of the following areas: procurement, finance, or enterprise software/hardware sales. Strong writing skills, detail-oriented and highly organized. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. Strong understanding of procurement spending processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations. Passion for the HR and Benefits industry and a commitment to continuous learning.
