100% Remote Epic Resolute Analyst (PB OR HB Certified) Contract Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Epic Resolute PB/HB Senior Analyst to lead the configuration, optimization, implementation, and support of Epic Revenue Cycle workflows across Professional Billing (PB) and Hospital Billing (HB). The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in claims processing, billing workflows, denial management, and revenue cycle operations within the Epic ecosystem. This role requires close collaboration with revenue cycle, finance, clinical operations, and integration teams to improve billing accuracy, revenue capture, and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and payer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, build, and support of Epic Resolute PB/HB modules
  • Configure and optimize:
  • Charge capture and Charge Router workflows
  • Claims processing, claim edits, and billing rules
  • Payment posting and remittance workflows
  • Denials management and workqueues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production support issues (L2/L3) related to billing workflows
  • Support system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and go-live activities
  • Collaborate with:
  • Revenue Cycle teams (Billing, AR, Coding)
  • Clinical and operational stakeholders
  • Clearinghouse and integration teams
  • Ensure system configurations align with:
  • Revenue cycle best practices
  • Compliance and regulatory standards (HIPAA, billing regulations)
  • Drive workflow optimization, performance tuning, and process improvements
  • Mentor junior analysts and provide functional and technical guidance
  • Participate in implementation, support, and enhancement initiatives across Epic Revenue Cycle modules.

Required Skills & Qualifications Epic Resolute Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB)
  • Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB)
  • Deep understanding of:
  • Claims lifecycle (Charge → Claim → Payment → Denial → AR Follow-up)
  • Workqueues, claim edits, and billing rules

Epic Certification

  • Mandatory Epic Certification in:
  • Resolute PB or HB
  • Preferred:
  • PB/HB Admin
  • Claims Admin Certification

Revenue Cycle Knowledge

  • Strong functional knowledge of:
  • Claims processing (EDI 837/835)
  • Denials management and AR workflows
  • Insurance, coding, reimbursement, and payer processes

Implementation & Support

  • Experience in:
  • Build and Run activities (Implementation + Support)
  • L2/L3 production support
  • Defect resolution and system enhancements

Functional & Technical Skills

  • Experience with:
  • Epic Hyperspace / Hyperdrive
  • ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and configuration skills

Nice-to-Have

Skills

  • Experience with:
  • Charge Router and Claim Edit optimization
  • Ambulatory, Cadence, or Prelude integrations
  • Clearinghouse integrations and payer workflows
  • Large-scale go-lives and optimization programs
  • Reporting tools such as Workbench or Clarity
  • Additional Epic Revenue Cycle certifications
  • Exposure to offshore/global delivery models

Experience Required

  • 6–10+ years of Epic experience
  • Strong experience in Epic Revenue Cycle (PB/HB)
  • Proven experience in healthcare billing and claims management environments
